I recently took a step toward preserving the natural beauty of our community by purchasing 12 acres of land near my home in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. This space has already begun to flourish with wildlife, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to see nature reclaim what was once marred by trash and human impact. However, there is an opportunity to expand this preserve by acquiring adjacent land, which would allow us to protect even more of our local ecosystem.

As a retiree, I have invested all I can into this project, but I believe that together, we can make a significant difference.
